Is this place the best Ramen I've ever had? No. Is it the worst? Far from it. It's a solid ramen place that hits the spot. The Takoyaki here is great, and the ramen isn't too salty (a big issue I have with a lot of ramen places) ONE person runs this spot so it is small, but he is hustling! There's a lot of variety too and a great happy hour!

Came on Friday during the street festival, outside front patio was full so decided to sit inside. I ordered the cold beef udon as advertised on their chalk sandwich board. I wanted something refreshing and new to me as I'm familiar with cold noodles like soba but not udon. I found it odd that the chef had to confirm with me twice my order was cold udon as it was supposed to be their special. The broth came out with some ice that melted quickly and it had tasty beef flavor. The noodles were cooked pretty good, not overdone and plenty of bouncy chew that was good cold. I think this is a dish that people would would eat cold pizza the next morning would like. The downside is the cut of beef used, when served cold the fat was overly tough and not pleasant. If you are someone who likes cold pizza the next day, then you would probably be one to enjoy cold beef udon here. There is some room for improvement here, the restaurant is mid for the price point but torn as I want to support local business and found service was quick to respond.

First time here, we sat outside and was able to get happy hour Sapporo which was around $3 each and a bowl of ramen each. I got the Monrovia Tonkotsu and the noodles were firm which I LOVE so if you want soft just tell them to cook it longer, a half of an egg, bamboo shoots, green onion, and a slice of meat. The broth was super flavorful but I wanted it spicy so I got some spice on the side and added it in on my own. Service was amazing, I didn't catch our servers name but he was so nice and kept asking if everything was ok. The place seems really hidden but it's a great place to go to for ramen especially before or after watching a movie... I will definitely be back to try another bowl soon.

Cute little ramen joint. Not much seating so get there early. Ramen: good flavor. I opted for the MoonCat tonkatsu cause I like a thinner broth. It wa delicious. I would say that I wish there were more topping. Felt like my I was scouring the bowl to find some presence of chashu, bamboo, or the half egg. Shrimp Tempura: delicious. The batter looked thick but actually tasted very balanced. Karrage (fried chicken): good flavor. Very juice. Great happy hour for drinks. $2.99 draft beer and $1 sake shots.

Chilly weather had me craving ramen. I am so happy we went to MoonCat! We had pork gyozas to start which came with 3 flavored oils to customize our own dipping sauce, which was fantastic. The Tonkotsu which was hot and delicious! The broth was full of flavor and smelled fantastic as it was being delivered to the table. The egg was soft and creamy. I could have drank the bowl and I basically tried to! I will be back for more soon. My BF had the Arizona which was packed with meat and huge. Our server was attentive, informative (this was our first visit) and friendly! We were sat indoors and there were many outside tables too. It was pretty busy, and although she was the only server, she seemed to be multitasking well. I'll be back for more ramen! Can't wait to try their shaved ice once it gets warmer.
